Surendra Joshi is a resident of Nashik which is situated on the banks of holy river Godavari in the state of Maharashtra. It is believed that the popular epic Ramayana took place at Nashik. It is now developed as one of the modern places in India. It is surrounded by scenic Sahyadri hills with moderate climate. It is also known as the largest producer of grapes and onions in the country and more recently has emerged as wine capital of India.

Born and brought at Pune which is known as Oxford of the East, Surendra has diverse educational background such as graduation in Science, Law and Masters in Management Science. He worked in a reputed Development Bank to the Government of Maharashtra. Currently he has his own professional project consultancy set up. It mainly deals with Agro based and Food Processing Sector in arranging project funding and Government grants. He has assisted more than 225 projects across the country. He works with passion to assist the emerging entrepreneurs by sharing his knowledge and experience of over four decades. He was also a visiting faculty to various Management Institutions and organisations. He travels extensively in every nook and corner of the country regularly on account of his profession. He had also published collection of poems in the name : The Entrepreneur: dreams and realities in the year 2000. He has aptly described feelings of entrepreneurs through the poems. He is fond of reading, music, teaching, traveling and tennis. He has vast network of friends from different walks of life.
